Graffiti

What is it about tagging that is completely stupid? Why sneak out at night in secrecy and break the law by defiling a wall, or an unfortunate train car, only to sign your logo, or sometimes even dumber, your name? This seems backwards/foolish to me. If I were to rob someone, I wouldn't give them my business card...

And what is it about the font that they write in? Half the time it's illegible, and in the slim chance that you can make out the letters, it's usually gibberish or misspelled. And another thing, why is it always words or gang signs? Why not paint a scene of some sort??? Since it's illegal already, the sky's the limit. You can go dirty or clean, religious or secular; an artist's ultimate canvas. Show me that your work is different and that it deserves to be kept. Not this tired, overplayed, expected bullshit like THUGLIFE, CHICKIE or PAINE. That's bush league.

Honestly, there hasn't been a decent graffitist since Timothy Hutton played Jimmy Lynch in "Turk 182!".
